This Christmas album is the best ever. It makes me remember my childhood when my parents were alive and our house was filled with love and joy, the mono version is what I used to play on my dad's Gramophone when I used to put up Christmas decorations. I have the CD version I purchased in 1988 still sounds good just like back in the day. Please, please, buy this album and you won't regret it.

Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound" is evident in every single track on this must have Christmas album. I grew up listening to the vinyl version, on my dad's stereo, and when I heard it on iTunes, it was like going back to my childhood.

I listen to this every single year, several times. It's near perfection, save for the talky bit at the end.
  • issue with sound quality

This is a decent…not great, but decent, Xmas album. I don’t have an issue with spending the $$ for the download. What I do have a beef with is the sound quality, remastered or not, the sound quality is really pretty bad. I want my money back for that alone. I burned it to a disc and played it in the car, and it was like it was 1963 all over again on an AM radio. So, I guess it was authentic. But for anyone expecting decent quality sound…fuhgettaboutit.
