  • Great album

This album has a lot of great tunes. The only problem is that the sound mixing on the first few tracks is less than amazing. Even with that, I would still recommend this album to all people everywhere.
  • Simply amazing!!!

I saw this group at the Pocano's Blues Fest July 2009. After seeing the afternoon show, I had to catch the evening show. Their rendition of "When the Saints Come Marching In" is so, so good. You must see this group live!!
  • Don't miss these guys live!

We just saw them live at the Iowa City Jazz Festival and they were by far the most electric entertaining act of the day! They are all incredible musicians. If you get a chance to catch a show do not miss it! In case you did not know if you ever watched the show Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and caught the holiday performance Trombone Shorty was the one who performed the version of O Holy Night.

I've seen Trombone Shorty live and he is great. This album/recording however is not. Borderline terrible. I feel like I got ripped off.

Saw these guys twice at the bayou boogaloo festival in Norfolk Va 2008/2007 and they rocked played nonstop both years for over 2 hours. When Troy gets going he can play a single note for over 5 mins(gets the crowd going) For a real taste of New Orleans Jazz see these guys when they come to your area its worth the trip. I'll be there when they come here again

I just rung in 2008 with these cats in St. Petersburg, Florida. They are AWESOME! The show was bananas!!! If you ever see that they are coming to your city, scoop up a ticket quickly. They played non-stop for over two hours and had the crowd on their feet for every single minute. It is hard to believe that Troy is only 22 years old. He is a master on the trombone. And the guy on the electric guitar...words can't describe. Of course the CD can't capture the magic of the live performance, but it comes pretty darn close.
