  • The BEST Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No.2 is here

The combination of conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen (the Philharmonia Orchestra) and pianist Yefim Bronfman turns this album into one of the best recording studio performances of Rachmaninov's beloved and undeniably-romantic Piano Concerto No.2 in C Minor. I've never heard of Bronfman before this album, but this recording clearly shows his great talent. Kudos to the conductor, the pianist, and the recording studio (Sony label) and to iTunes ..... this is a top-notch recording of one of the most loved pieces in Rachmaninov's reportoire. This album is already worth it just for the Piano Concerto #2 alone, but it also includes the #3 concerto, also played just as superbly.
