I like red just not in my to ten my fave song is “tell me how to say goodbye” If they start to sound more like that song I’m sold.
  • An okay Red album but my second least favorite Red album and my first least favorite is Declaration.

I am in a huge red fan this album is probably one of the best albums I’ve ever heard by red and it is Heavy the song that really gives me goosebumps is the devil is your ghost emergency and The Suffering I highly recommend those songs and check them out because they are headbangers song and the rest of the album is amazing besides all the other songs that I did not mention

Short but each song is packed with so much layering, and production is so good. this is a touch of End of silence and Declaration, Each song is unique of its own. My favorite songs are Cold World, The suffering, and EMERGENCY!

RED's sound has grown. Their move away from a traditional record label was a good decision. You can hear their musical maturation in this album. The way each song progresses tugs on the emtions similar to how they did on their first album. The guitars and drums are tight and the syncopation and rests bring the music to life. I would highly recommend.
  • Best Album Yet

Rated R shows a more mature and polished side of RED than we've ever seen before. This album perfectly balances the classic RED sound with new and fresh ideas. At it's core, it's a RED album. But it goes in new directions and to new places. The production, lyrics, and performaces of all the band members are at the highest point of the bands career. Rated R feels like the perfect culmination of all of RED's previous 7 records while showing where they are at now and where they are headed in the future.
  • Step Down from the Step Up of Declaration

Declaration was great since I don't love the super, super slow songs. This album has a little too much lightness to some songs for a 10 song album, and even the heavy ones have small issues (The Suffering being way too short). Still enjoyable songs throughout, especially Surrogates and Emergency.
  • Cold Emergency!

I love the amount of impassioned pleas for help and lamenting of hardships in this album! I especially like Cold World and Emergency! I can't get enough of these slower and edgy-soft songs! Well done RED!
