In the Minority...

I wished & wanted to love this album & give it 5 stars. And I tried, but unfortunately after repeated listens my reluctant conclusion is I think it's a lackadaisical & uninspired album with only a song or two that I'll go back to and listen to again. Ahh well, maybe next one (if there is one.)
Loving it

That for sure it was old music I’d missed somehow. The sound is so classic. But it’s new and it’s awesome.
It's Okay

Hipe........ Needed more work on many of the songs. I predict a slow dissolve of the 2 OG's
May not be their best…

But they still have introduced music that has me listening. I liked the production on this album.
Plenty to enjoy as a DM fan

This album is full of lovely melodies that get stuck in my head. Easily becoming a favorite album by DM, in no time at all! Inspired, modern and memorable. Loved “Ghosts Again”, and it’s backed here by “Don’t Say You Love Me”. Gorgeous dark electronica. The ending is huge, too. An early contender for album of 2023.
An instant DM classic!!

This is by far one of their best albums EVER!! The more I listen, the more I absolutely LOVE this album. The lyrics are so introspective and cover the entire landscape of what we come to expect from DM. Has been on continuous play ever since it’s release date.
The more I hear it the more I love it

Best DP album since Songs of Faith and Devotion in my opinion. So many good songs and just gets better every time I listen to it. Ghosts Again might be the first single and most well known song on the album, but Before We Drown just blew me away. Definitely one of my top 10 favorite DM songs. I hope that this gets some airplay, it’s too good not to. So glad that they have found the magic again with this album!!
Easily Depeche Mode's Best Album of the 21st Century!

I haven't enjoyed an entire Depeche Mode album since "Ultra". They have released several brilliant songs in the 21st Century, but I haven't enjoy a DP album in its entirety until "Memento Mori". You need to listen to it a couple of times for the album and its music to sink in and be truly appreciated. This is easily the best album from an 80's band since Tear for Fears' "The Tipping Point", (which is really good, but not quite as awesome as "Memento Mori". Depeche Mode have regained their mojo!
Best album in years!
