Gettin' Old

When I listen to an album that I’m sincerely interested in I listen with studio quality headphones on so I can hear the quality of the musicians, the producer, the singer and especially the quality of the song’s lyrics. A song is supposed to tell a story it’s supposed to make you want to listen to the end. How many times have you closed your eyes and allowed yourself to become a part of the song? I can listen to “Tattoo On A Sunburn” and smell coconut suntan lotion, “See Me Now” I could see me sitting with my mentor at the kitchen table and him seeing I followed his advice. I heard Luke mention he was nervous about how this album would be received by fans because it was a bit different than his other albums. I think it opens up his creativity as a songwriter and shows he has a lot to offer as a performer and entertainer.

I listened to the whole album! This one is just as good as all his others have been. His voice is still exactly as it’s always been and his new songs are fantastic! He may seem a little low key on this one and not the buddies that he’s playing with but there’s nothing wrong with that!! This new album is fantastic and there’s not thing wrong with it!! I love it Luke! Keep ‘em coming!!

I am a huge Luke fan. He puts his heart in his music and every song he sings. This release is no different - so much meaning and relatable to us regular kind of folks. My girls and I have been through a lot together and listening to his music is so relatable. Another game changer to our favorite artist. Thank you Luke and team!

The songs were good but not the usual upbeat good time you get with Luke if you are looking for a good time you can vibe to on a boat and such I would look to his past albums
