OK- After their first single, SAN QUENTIN I wrote the below- After purchasing the album, I am amending my review. This is the first album of theirs that I really dont care for. After the first single, its boring, uninspired and seems like they put no effort into it. The ballads are alright, but those are the best songs. Nothing rocks outside of San Quentin, which is lyrically kinda weak for a band with incredible rhyming ability. BELOW is my original review.
TO the idiots who rank them low. Yeah, well, you can go (%(^%^(&$) yourself. Listen, for some reason, which escapes me, they get a bad rap, yet sell millions of albums continually. This lends me to believe that all those giving negative reviews only do so publically, but privately, they buy the albums and tell their friends that someone gave them the album as a gift.
They rock, pure and simple. They wont go down in history as the best musicians, but lyrically they know how to write catchy, hooking ryhmes. The music flows, and its heavy and rocks. So, keep your negative garbage to yourselves cause you know you are going to buy this album, just like you have all their previous ones.
