I am just now being introduced to this young Lady and her Amazing talent… her Beautiful Voice that just makes you want to take a pause from all of the hustle and bustle from the day, kick back with a glass of red wine, and just chill in the ambience of flickering candlelight. Samara Joy is the epitome of Elegance and Excellence in Jazz for such a young woman and can easily take her place along side of the Great Jazz artists from times past. I’m so happy I came across her body of work. What a breath of fresh air amongst black artists today… and I’m here for it!

It is amazing to think this young woman is 23 years old. Meaning her first album was probably recorded when she was 20. I can listen to every song on repeat and never get tired of it. I highly recommend this Grammy award winning artist. It’s not just about her age but more about her talent.

She gives these beautiful classics a newness that is enchanting!
