Articles and reviewers are telling me maybe I should like this.
But I just can't get past the drum sound.
Gimme Ornette Coleman, Miles, Coltrane, Weather Report, Herbie Hancock (yes he sits in I know), and a real sounding drum kit.

I like to hear instruments that require practice to get a tone that is unique to the musician and pleasing to the listener. There is no tone worth listening to here. It sounds like what my daughter did on her keyboard when she was 8 years old.

As a jazz fan for 50 some years, personally I am glad to see the young and upcoming reinvigorating jazz. It’s great to feel the passion, heartbeat and soul back into the music. Let’s remember that is what jazz was originally. These two very talented young people are part of a new set of young people reimagining what jazz could be again. I say well done. Anyone who doubts their chops go on you tube and watch them play Coltranes giant steps!
