Reviews

  • Rap is ruining metal

They started off strong with first album, now they are rapping. I hate that style. I hate when bands change because they really disappoint their original fans. I guess you can say they are selling out?

Kind of a let down from the Trauma album. Some good songs that aren’t even popular.
  • Disappointing

I loved Trauma and Lifelines. Both we’re a good mix of heavy and softer music. The songs dealt with serious issues like mental illness and more light hearted things, like relationships. Many of the songs had a message of hope. That is not this album. I don’t know what happened, but the message I’m hearing is hopelessness and “we’re all damned so eff it”. I get it that music usually reflects whatever the artists are going through in their personal lives and if it’s all this darkness then I get it. On the other hand though, the lyrics are simple, not deep in the least. Many of the songs sound the same. Almost like when a band is forced to put out an album and they weren’t ready yet. I wish I had just bought “Bad Things” and left the rest.

This. Group continues to evolve. They have some of the typical style seen in trauma and life lines but then they hit heavier notes and go a little rapish? I thought a lot of a newer Linkin Park sound..I liked it. My favs are bod bag, Bad things, Deep End and Doomed.
  • Simply, amazing.

This entire album has something for everyone. The range this band has is not comparable to anyone else out there. They can be heavy, slow, fast paced, you name it. This band is one of the best out there playing at this moment and I would suggest this album to anyone with good taste.

This band seems almost too polished, as if they were created in a lab. Unreal how talented these guys are.
