From start to finish this album is great! I just saw them live for this tour and the songs are even better live. MUSE is one of the best!
  • Sheeple gonna hate this album…

So far, the first four songs released have blown me away! Love that, of all the bands that have written about the tyranny of government and the fight for individual rights, MUSE actually stuck to their guns and their principles. Will of the People is brilliantly deceptive in its message( listen for “sheeple” slipped in at the end) and Compliance speaks to peoples willingness to give up everything because of fear, which is , of course being perpetrated by the one’s offering safety. Bravo MUSE. Cannot wait to hear the rest of the album on the 26th!

What happened to Muse?! This sounds like a collection of twice-rejected songs from the last three albums all thrown together in an hour to form something sellable because a record company exec demanded it. Nothing new, completely recycled, creatively empty garbage. Don’t waste your time or money. This band DESPERATELY needs to get back to its roots, abandon their current(ly empty) path, and rediscover themselves. Go back and listen to ‘Origin of Symmetry’ and ‘Showbiz’; what happened to THAT BAND?! Such a disappointment. Ugh.

  • Enjoying Their Latest But Not Happy With Apple

Probably not my favorite Muse album but there are some solid songs on their latest that I thoroughly enjoy. I think fans will too. One of those songs, Kill Or Be Killed, will not download with the rest of the album and I have no idea why, considering I bought the entire album. This also happened with Iron Maiden's latest album in which my favorite song would not download, either. Apple, I should not have to buy a song again because it won't download. Even if I were inclined to blow money in that fashion, you don't even offer the option of buying the song again unless it is from another album. I have experienced this ridiculousness for years but it generally happens when you listen to the song first through your Apple Music subscription. It disables the purchase button that is by each song on the album. The only workaround I have found is to gift myself this song, open email, click on link, then add to Library. However, I did not expect my entire album to not completely download without even visiting Apple Music. What is going on here? Pleease fix this glitch!
  • Paging Marilyn Manson

Will of the People sounds very much like Manson’s “The Beautiful People.” So much so, that I think he’d have a case to get some royalties out of it. However, due to his ongoing legal issues, it’s unlikely to come to fruition. In addition, the video for Won’t Stand Down was most definitely ripping off Sleep Token. The symbol they used, the imagery, pretty much everything in the video.
  • Awful Album

I’m a huge Muse fan and have loved all of their albums until this one. This album is dreadfully bad. There is not a single listenable track on it. I’m hugely disappointed.
  • Compliance is clearly the song of the past two years

But I had to turn this off. I couldn’t finish the album. I’m so disappointed. They need to move on from the political themed albums. They’ve said everything they have to say, sometimes twice.
