I like all of the songs

None of anybody's new songs are good. But Ed sheran had me at 2 step which I sorta like.

I am a big Ed fan but this album is so different than what he's done in the past. He asks us to listen to the entire album as it is presented. The problem is that there are epic albums that are created to be listened to through it's entirity as things flow from one song to the next building on what came before. One of my favorite albums like this is Supertramps Crisis - What Crisis? The songs aren't a bunch of singles like Ed Sheeran's albums. The entire album put out by Supertramp with Crisis uses the songs and the music to slowly push you toward a climactic peak and then pulls you back in with something milder at the last minute. There were no hit singles on Crisis because the entire album is meant to be listen to from the beginning to the end. By Ed's own description, these songs are crap. He wrote many songs a day but none of them have the music that doesn't feel like it was thrown in as an exhausted afterthought. Ed asked us to listen to the entire album before passing judgment but I only made it about half way through and then abandoned it. = should be a continuance of Ed's development of his talent but it is just a bunch of mediocre singles. I believe that this album will not sell well and it will hopefully lead Ed to realize that every five or six songs that he writes every day are not all golden and that he needs to learn more about creating music that elevates his lyrics instead of whatever this album was supposed to be.
