This is what music is supposed to do. Medicine for the Soul. Relief from the difficulties of life and also a suggestion where strength for all comes from in a Higher Power. Thanks Chris Martin and crew and please keep giving us music that inspires and feels great!
It always amazes me that people can be so finicky and critical when a band changes with the times. Get over yourselves. It takes creativity and a willingness to put yourself out there to be able to spread your wings and move forward to progress and keep current. If you don’t like the new sound, by all means, go listen to the old stuff. Or maybe put out your own music.
Boys of Summer?
Ever heard Boys of Summer by Don Henley? This sounds very similar, so similar that if I were Don, I’d be calling my lawyer. (BoS is so much better tho.)
Come on people
Always amazes me when the critics come out. Would love to see each of them try to write a song that someone would listen to.
Have a little fun and appreciate the song for what it is. Fun!
Coldplay doesn’t have to sit in a box and only write the same music over and over. What makes them special is the diversity and passion.
Cheers to my favorite band of all time! Glad you guys are still writing and enjoy a positive review in the midst of all the negative people in the world!

I love this song! It’s definitely a familiar vibe to the Head Full of Dreams album. I think people are upset that Coldplay is and always has been evolving (which is what any good band does). If they never evolved their sound, everyone would complain that it all sounds the same and to do something else. Plus they tend to alternate between more moody albums and upbeat albums.
Great song with great beats and great vibes!
This album of this song is so good. I don’t understand the negative reviews, they expect Coldplay to be like what they were back then, but if you notice anything about their latest album Adventure Of A Lifetime, you’ll know why Coldplay release this song. Something different with them, I like it, it’s a good song.
I would rate this zero stars if I could
What Were You Thinking?
Cash grab? Sell out? Tampon Ad? Clearly, the thought of making good music was not on the minds of this band. Chris Martin once said they would break up once they reached irrelevance. Time's Up. This is pure trash.
Not worth putting out!
Sounds like a terrible b side of their worst song.
