  • Probably the best Remaster

    By theplantman75
This 1972 album was remastered in 1991, re-remastered in 2014, and apparently re-re-remastered in 2021 now... This one definitely has the clearest vocals, but I think the vocals in the oldest remaster are best if you like the classic vinyl distortion sound. It gives the instrumental half of the music more power.
  • Better than other remaster

This version sounds way better than the 2014 remaster (yellow cover art). If you want the best version of Vol 4, this is it. If you want the super deluxe (which it is not advertised as cough other idiot reviews cough) this is NOT it. For a remastered classic album, 5 stars.
  • Shrill

I don't like the remaster job. The regular version on iTunes is better. Go find yourself Blasck Sabbath Black Box.....the remasters of Vol. 4 and Master of Reality are to die for.
  • Wha happened?

I guess the super deluxe expanded edition is only availble on hard copy. This sounds very good and it is affordable unlike the hard copy.
  • Where’s the expanded edition, ITunes?!?

    By Markpr73
I see this is a 2021 release, which I understood to be an expanded version with live cuts and unreleased tracks. This ain’t it!
  • Best Sabbath album!

IMHO, this is the BEST Black Sabbath album...and the remastering sounds GREAT! Will definitely be purchasing this one come February!
