I’m also a big fan ! I absolutely love your music. (I’m 16) I’ve been listening to your music for years now. Don’t listen to the hate comments; I know (but not the way you do) that it’s easy to let it bring you down but just remember that you have so many more people supporting you than the people who aren’t. And I just want to tell you (although just me alone likely doesn’t make a difference and you probably won’t even read this) don’t change your beautiful self and who you are as a person or your music for others. Don’t morph your music into something different that other people who don’t enjoy it would like.
Your music is BEAUTIFUL (and so many other amazing words I can’t even name right now) JUST the way it IS, because you and Finneas are a super talented sibling duo. He is an extremely gifted writer and singer and you are an amazing singer/songwriter. You two are perfect for each other. And can I just say; when the two of you are together, you guys have a magical connection that no other siblings have.💛 Btw I love his background vocals so so much they go perfectly with your vocals and your voice. He also has kind of the same softness in his tone as you do. It is so beautiful. You two are so talented together as artists.
I know (again, I’m definitely not trying to make any assumptions. So with all due respect.) you like to experiment with new sounds and vocals now and then for a different variety, and yeah, you do that and we’ll still love you for it. But your music all together just has this vibe I can’t describe. It’s the kind of feeling that makes me want to cry when I listen sometimes, when it really, really hits home. Then simultaneously it makes me want to laugh or even freaking shout from a roof into the sky at the top of my lungs. Whatever gorgeous feeling that is, (Just you being you; your own vibe) keep making that and creating that vibe that you’ve mostly stuck with since you started your career. Don’t change for other people that you don’t need to change for!! You actually made a song describing that — Not My Responsibility. Go check it out, people! Highly recommend. It’s pretty deep with emotion though so be prepared. But I think that was Billie’s intention. It is a very well written and sung song though!
The people who don’t like your music might never like it anyways no matter what you change about it,
(People in the reviews, please don’t use that to your advantage against her…) so just don’t! Ik I’ve said that several times, but really. If they don’t like it, that’s ok; everyone has their own preferences of different styles and genres.
You just keep creating those heartfelt, aggressively and passionately beautiful but edgy and also badass🤪👏 lyrics of yours, and whoever likes them, and however many of your fans who love you will love whatever music you debut! No matter what you decide to do in your career there will probably be a million people who will give you support. Ik that sounds dystopian if you think about it in a twisted way, (which, once again I’m not trying to say I know you, but I think you sometimes think like that bc life is cruel, which is why you occasionally bring humor to it in a good but not rude way — which I appreciate you for bc I cope with humor sometimes.😌) but, that does NOT mean your fans are a ton of mindless people following you around wired to love you no matter what. PLEASE don’t think that. Well — who am I to tell you or suggest to you what to think.
Yes, we (your fans) will love you for you (you and your personality, aside from your music) no matter what, but we genuinely love and enjoy your music. Why else would the majority of us listen intently to your songs in repeat and even have it in our heads? (I do that lol, I always have one of your songs that flows with my mood at that time looping inside my brain. You help me cope, actually, with many things, even eating disorder & body image; so thank you for that Billie.❤️🩹) My point is, whoever loves your music will love your music. And whoever loves you will love you. Your voice, your music, your laugh, your funny faces, your ticks, your smile, your deeply beautiful eyes, YOUR PERSONALITY, (not just your features) even your flaws, your body; every single side of you inside and out is amazing and beautiful and gorgeous and handsome and so many other things. And no side more than the other. You are perfectly imperfect. I just wanted to say that. Everyone reading this review, thank you.
