100% qualifying as country album, it has everything a complete country album should have -although I am the farthest from being an authority on country. The album has songs with typical topics- cowboys and life in the south, but Kasey Musgraves is breaking molds- this was far more accessible and memorable than other county albums because lyrically Kasey Musgraves is pushing the envelope. Right off the bat in the first song - she hooks those expecting a standard country song. “Grandma cried when I pierced my nose”- a line that’s relatable by many and had me intrigued from the get go. As of 2019 She’s won 6 Grammys. To me it makes sense why.

Too busy loving this album apparently I forgot to write a review, so here goes. I HAVE NEVER had an album that I love all of the songs on it. this album is thoroughly frickin awesome! Its like floating on a cloud on a nice sunny, breezy day. Kacey is truly incredible. I’m an eclectic black man and this is my first country album but, certainly not my last. Kacey xoxo. music has no race! 🌈🦄🤗
