Music Still Holds Up But Loses Its Novelty
By The Ez Factor
Cant argue with how influential this album is. Basically every 13 year old kid getting into alternative music is going to listen to Dookie. Most of the songs are super catchy and fun. But as I've gotten older I can't shake the feeling that most of Green Days music is for 12 year olds. That would be fine, but Billie Joe doesn't seem to realize the music is for 12 year olds. At least Blink-182 admits that their music is written for teenagers. The immature goofiness of the songs wear off after a while. "omg, he's singing about playing with himself ho ho ho!"
Good album, but..
I think a lot of these songs sound very simalar. I wis they could have added a few songs in a different key

Honestly, I enjoyed the first two albums more, but still a very solid album. I feel like it’s overrated, but not bad, I guess.
Welcome to Paradise, Longview, Basket Case, and When I Come Around? Anyone?
YES YES ✨🔪💅
Its not Hi-Res

Grew up on this album.
Time has stood still for this album

Best album of the 90s, hands-down. This album single-handedly paved the way for every punk, alternative and pop punk band after it. It’s is nearly 30 years-old and it not only still blows everything away, but it sounds like it was just released today. I wish they would go back to this sound.
Green Day is awesome
My friend and I love Green Day! We’re thinking about going to their concert!
Love Green Day especially now with the modern day songs kinda sucking
