To all the conservative haters who think Bruce gives a hoot about you and your moronic politics, I'm sure you're wrong. I'm sure if you dropped dead tomorrow Bruce wouldn't care and will still sell plenty of these recordings. I'll buy it and the book just to spite you. So please, don't buy anything you don't want to and feel free to drop dead. Most of you will likely go steal it someplace else anyway.

This one, like ALL of Bruce's albums, has some truly great tunes... but this isn just another 'collection' and we've heard them before. Well, the really 'early' stuff I hadn't heard, but didn't need to. When will SOMEONE step up and say 'Bruce, there's no need to endlessly repackage old tunes... unless it's all about the benjamins'.

I do like your music, but you mix the politics with your talent, and its enough to make you arrogant entertainers ritch at our hard working people, you are insulted millions of people just because we are disagree with your political views. You are simply entertainer and should know your place...

so what r u goinna do with our money u keep taking releasing the same songs over and over again build new bathrooms everywhere you preform. you used to be my hero until you fell in love with the demo party and became a lunatic llike the rest of them. so putting down the USA is a cool thing with u liberals tell that to the guys who come back with only half of what they had when they left to protect this country so u can make a huge amount of cash and live in your mansion you guys crack me up.

After that exceptional review by SDJTAZ there's not much left for me to say. But I just want to reiterate to the haters that this is a companion piece to go along with his new book. So if it's not something you're interested and don't buy it. But if you're going to review it, understand what you are reviewing first.
  • Steel Mill

I remember Steel Mill from Monroe Park, VCU days. Mercy Flyte and there were many songs that could be covered. Bruce spent a lotta time in Richmond, we loved him down here. Would have liked to hear a good cut of Hail Resurrection, Back to Ga etc. Ive heard the bootlegs but I was hoping that they might have done some studio versions.
  • Left Out

Well I would have liked to buy this album but unfortunately Bruce has decided to make his left- liberal stand and I am a conservative. I really don't care to have politics mixed with my music and the same goes for sports Colin. Bye Bye Bruce.
