A little bit country, a little bit of a lot of other stuff too

Yellowstone brought them to my attention, but after seeing them live as an opener for Whiskey Myers, I’m a full blown fan. I mean, yeah it’s country, but it’s a little southern rock, a little folk, a little alternative, a lot of awesomeness. The four part harmonies and fiddle give them a little hint of Mumford and Sons but also a flavor completely their own. Give ‘em a try if you haven’t. They are worhour a doubt worth the download.
Why am I here...?

Not really my normal genre of music but I’m here because it’s that good. Probably the best country album I’ve heard in 20+ years. This is the drinking music that country music should be!
The best out

These guys have taken over Texas country music. Truly the best out right now along with the Turnpike Troubadours, Ryan Bingham, American Aquarium, etc. Unbelievable songwriting, unbelievable talent, unbelievable instrumentals. Each one of these guys are superstars by themselves.
Amazing opening!

Took my wife to Turnpike Troubadour concert last night. What do you guys have to do to become huge?! Met Shane after the concert amazing guy!!! Bought both CDs from him without even thinking. They had me sold just on his voice not to undersell the instruments they play music that moves you. Their music never gets old been on a loop. Pleasant surprise to hear an amazing opener! Keep it up guys!
Superb......

These guys are the best of the best!
You want great, well-written music? These guys. You want great singing (including harmony)? These guys. You want exposure to solid lyrics that make you think and feel? These guys. You want songs you don’t just hear, you experience? These guys. You want to hear a band that sounds just as good live as they do on the album? These guys.
I can’t say enough about how good these guys are. I love TC/RD music, in all its variety. However, it’s not uncommon for me to fall in love with a song, only to fall out of love after too many listens. Not so with Shane Smith & the Saints! You can hear these songs over and over and over again…and you’ll want to!
Underrated

As an accomplished performer and musician, I get irritated when great bands go unnoticed or underrated. Needtobreathe was along those lines and so is Shane Smith. Not only are they genuine people who care about their fans, but they are truly talented individuals. I'm happy to see them getting decent exposure at the moment and hope they break into the big time. Listeners deserve music that isn't poorly written with an agenda. Shane is a solid storyteller and songwriter who will only develop with time. Buy this album. Support good music and musicians. Peace.
Such. Good. Music.

I heard them on Spotify today and they blew me away. The combination of instrumental talent in the group, Shane's voice, and the awesome song writing creates the perfect combustion of AMAZING music! I will not miss their Denver show in June for anything, can't wait to see them live.

This band will be huge! Great roots sound. I saw them play live a couple of weeks ago and they put on a great show. Keep doing what you are doing. Once your name gets out there more you will blow up.
